Temporary forwardings are short-lived e-mail addresses that you don't own, but you give to websites as you did. Any mail that is sent to this temporary address while it exists will be forwarded to your real address, keeping this latter hidden so when the temporary address expires, no further e-mail will be able to reach you anymore (usually spam and UCE).
